The Second Galactic War has been declared and the Helldivers have been deployed on three fronts threatened respectively by specific enemies: the Terminids, the Automatons and more recently the Illuminates. To bolster the war effort, the Ministry of Truth decided to deploy an elite group capable of repelling the enemy from without as well as from within: the Cerberus Unit. These members, once known for repressing dissidents and protecting strategic elements, now represent the Ministry's sword and shield against all enemies of Mankind. To counter the Illuminates' return, the Super-Earth government has mobilized elite troops from the most remote and austere colonies. As Illuminate attacks multiply, and Automatons and Terminids keep up the pressure, humanity's fate rests in the hands of the brave who are ready to fight to defend it.
