Previously, I successfully repaired this laptop, but the owner decided to do maintenance without listening to me. Unfortunately, instead of thermal putty (thick thermal paste), he used a thermal pad of an inappropriate thickness, which led to catastrophic consequences. 🔍 What exactly happened? Watching the clip, you will see how using the wrong materials caused a short circuit on the VCC_SA line (powering the memory controller in the processor). The wrong voltage burned the processor directly, leaving us with a completely dead laptop.
