"BLUE BELLS OF SCOTLAND" Played On 1898 Olympia 15 3/4 inch Carved Case Music Box
Here is our recently purchased 1898 Olympia music box in a carved mahogany cabinet playing "The Blue Bells Of Scotland". This music box is unusual in that I have done virtuallly nothing to it and it produces some of the nicest sound that I have ever heard from a music box of this size. My normal preference in music boxes is the larger disc models but I thought I would take a chance on this one as I loved the carved cabinet. You can imagine my surprise when I first wound it up and played the disc you are watching and listening to here. Thanks for stopping in for a visit and I hope that you enjoy the video.
