Welcome back to the Kinlaig Farm Estate Timelapse. Farm expansion continues as we begin building a brand-new machinery yard. To support our growing fleet and increasing production volumes, we install several sheds and storage bays designed to house equipment, materials, and harvested products. One of the first tasks is clearing the straw bales still scattered across the fields and transporting them to their new storage location. With the storage area taking shape, we shift attention to livestock management. The cows require regular care, so we deliver water and balanced feed to different barns, keeping milk production and herd health on track. Meanwhile, field preparation continues in parallel. A hired worker mulches harvested fields, and as each field is completed, he moves on to the next one. To improve fertilizer management, we invest in a self-propelled slurry sprayer. One of the livestock barns has accumulated a full slurry tank, creating the perfect opportunity to recycle nutrients back into the fields. After filling the sprayer, we begin applying slurry to freshly mulched land, reducing fertilizer costs while improving soil fertility. Once the first field is finished, a hired worker takes over and continues the operation while we move on to the next major task. The focus then shifts to onion harvesting. A harvesting team consisting of a combine harvester, a tractor with a trailer, and a transport truck is assembled and sent to the field. The operation runs smoothly as onions are collected, loaded, and transported directly to the vegetable processing plant.
