ご視聴ありがとうございます。 特急「宗谷」札幌発・稚内行の右側車窓動画【前編】です。 前編では札幌駅から名寄駅間（約220km）の車窓をお届けします。 札幌駅を出発した列車は、函館本線を北上し、岩見沢、滝川、深川を経て北海道第二の都市・旭川へ。さらに宗谷本線へ入り、比布、和寒、士別を通過しながら、道北の拠点都市である名寄を目指します。 沿線では石狩平野の広大な田園風景や石狩川流域の景観、旭川以北に広がる北海道らしい雄大な自然をお楽しみいただけます。都市部から農村地帯、そして道北特有の風景へと移り変わる車窓の変化も見どころの一つです。 日本最北の特急列車として知られる宗谷号の旅。その前半区間となる札幌～名寄間の車窓を、どうぞごゆっくりお楽しみください。 【収録区間】 札幌 → 岩見沢 → 滝川 → 深川 → 旭川 → 和寒 → 士別 → 名寄 ※後編では名寄から終着・稚内までの車窓をお届けします。 Thank you for watching. This is Part 1 of the right-side window view journey aboard the Limited Express Sōya, operating from Sapporo to Wakkanai. Part 1 covers approximately 220 km (137 miles) between Sapporo and Nayoro. After departing from Sapporo, the train heads north along the Hakodate Main Line, passing through Iwamizawa, Takikawa, and Fukagawa before reaching Asahikawa, the second-largest city in Hokkaido. The journey then continues onto the Sōya Main Line, passing through Pippu, Wassamu, and Shibetsu on its way to Nayoro, one of the principal cities in northern Hokkaido. Along the route, you can enjoy the vast agricultural landscapes of the Ishikari Plain, scenic views of the Ishikari River basin, and the magnificent natural scenery that is characteristic of Hokkaido north of Asahikawa. One of the highlights of this journey is watching the scenery gradually transform from urban areas to rural farmland and finally to the distinctive landscapes of northern Hokkaido. Known as Japan's northernmost limited express service, the Sōya offers a unique long-distance rail experience.
