I wish the boss, Brachios, had appeared in the anime too! Brachios is an amphibious Zoid that the Zenebas Empire deployed in ZAC 2044. I believe that Brachios is never operated alone, and is generally a Zoid designed for unit operation, working in coordination with other Zoid. As such, its individual firepower is modest, and in power comparison tables it is considered to be on par with the old, small Zoid, Varigator, in performance, but I think Brachios is a Zoid designed to support allies and fill in the gaps in combat distance, so a simple comparison between individual units doesn't really make much sense!! The reason they chose the former amphibious Zoid, Zatton, as the design base rather than Sea Panzer is probably because of the ease of conversion into a model. Sea Panzer is a hermit crab-type Zoid originally designed for engineers, so it is easy to handle, but it probably takes some getting used to. In that respect, Brachios seems to have almost the same equipment layout and capabilities as Zatton, so it should be easy to handle. The kit has a gimmick that moves its neck in conjunction with walking. This is a structure that resembles an Ultrasaurus gimmick adapted for medium-sized Zoids, and despite being a wind-up Zoid, it has some very impressive movements. This powered-up wind-up Zoid feel may be the most noticeable of all the high-power unit Zoids to date. By the way, this is my favorite Zoid of the Zenebas Empire Zoids!! Thank you for your support!!!
