Mad Thunder is a giant Triceratops-type Zoid developed by the Helic Republic for use in the battle against the Death Saurers. Equipped with an anti-charged particle shield that neutralizes large-caliber charged particle cannons, Magnesers for penetrating the Death Saurers' ultra-heavy armor, and Thunder Horns for delivering the final blow, it is a machine designed as if it were created solely for defeating the Death Saurers. With the appearance of this Zoid, the Death Saurers' era of invincibility came to an end, and the Zenebas Empire, which relied heavily on the Death Saurers both in terms of military strength and unit structure, began to collapse all at once. Its main gun is the cannon beam cannon adopted by the Shield Liger Mk-II, and it is also equipped with a huge shock cannon mounted in front, making it suitable for a wide range of situations, and in later years it served as a central force in the Republic army in the battle against the Guylos Empire. The kit opens and closes its mouth as it walks, and sways its tail from side to side. Its eyes light up for a while and then flash. It also rotates the Hyper Rolling Charger on its back, the mysterious unit on its abdomen, and the Magneser on its head. The Magneser has a switch on its back that allows you to select between slow and fast rotation speeds, and by holding the switch in the center, it can be put into non-rotation mode.
