Gary Lineker has joined more than 120 UK millionaires in urging Prime Minister Andy Burnham to introduce higher taxes on the wealthiest, arguing: "We can afford it." The group says Britain should raise more revenue from the richest to help fund public services and tackle inequality. The campaign, organised by Patriotic Millionaires UK, has also been backed by figures including Richard Curtis, Val McDermid and Gary Stevenson.
