Kemi Badenoch tore into Andy Burnham over his plans for the country in a major speech today. Speaking in London, the Tory leader said: “Andy Burnham seems like a nice guy. I’ve enjoyed his dodgy dancing and even the shocking revelation that he puts the milk first in his tea. I’m glad he has a sense of humour. It’s needed in his job. "But when I look at the plans he has announced for the country, I find myself asking: is that it?" It comes as he has announced a series of measures aimed at tackling the cost of living since entering 10 Downing Street on Monday including reinstating the £2 bus fare cap and removing VAT from electricity bills.
