Gilbert was also chosen to be a Channel 7 "Everyday Hero" in 2008. ■ Pete Ohlin's daughter is battling Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS). Pete is a musician who discovered his passion for music after the death of his sister. Pete's music helped him endure the loss of his sister and now others living with loss, PTSD and depression are finding his music therapeutic and soothing. She has also been a caregiver to her mom, who lives with chronic illness and to her dad when he had a Traumatic Brain Injury.
