Shanmugam and Pritam Singh on Workers’ Party’s response to Noor Deros, PAS during GE2025

In an exchange between Workers' Party (WP) chief Pritam Singh and Home Affairs Minister K Shanmugam on race and religion in Singapore politics, Mr Singh said there was an "asymmetry of information" between the government and the WP. He was responding to Mr Shanmugam's ministerial statement in parliament on Tuesday (Oct 14) that pointed out WP's delayed and "ambiguous" response to Islamic preacher Noor Deros' involvement during the 2025 General Election.
