Happy holidays and see you in 2021 for a better year than 2020! ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's a little explanation about red cabbage: It's a colored indicator that changes color depending on the acidity or basicity of the liquid being tested (see my 9th grade video on this). When you pour water into vinegar, you're only diluting the acidity of the vinegar a tiny bit. So it won't change color. On the other hand, when you pour vinegar into water, you acidify the water. So the red cabbage juice will change color and take on the same color as in the vinegar.
