A highly successful multi-purpose aircraft. For land and naval use, it was equipped with two General Electric J-79-15 engines with afterburners and used in both air combat and ground attack. Spain incorporated the F-4C Phantom (C.12 and CR.12) in 1971, along with the KC-97L (TK-1) aircraft used for in-flight refueling. The Spanish Air Force operated 40 F-4Cs and 12 RF-4 tactical reconnaissance aircraft. It remained in service until 2002. If you would like more details about this aircraft, please request them in the comments and we will provide them.
