TRIBUN-VIDEO.COM - The Indonesian National Commission on Human Rights (Komnas HAM) recorded that civilians were the most frequent victims in 42 conflict incidents in Papua from January to early July 2026. Of the 59 fatalities, 43 were civilians, while the remainder consisted of eight Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) and Indonesian National Police (Polri) personnel and eight members of armed groups.
