I've Done 15 Interviews and I've Been Talking to the Wrong People

I've been documenting my search for the next business I'm going to start. Every week I pick up where I left off. This week things got complicated. Did over 15 validation interviews and I've confirmed a bunch of real problems. Onboarding is messy, salespeople sell things that don't exist, reps get thrown in the deep end. All true. Nobody has told me they want to pay for a solution yet and that's a problem. Starting to think I've been talking to the wrong people the whole time. Small startups have the problems but not the budget or the structure to care about fixing them. Which might explain why every big player in this space is doing enterprise sales and ignoring the small guys entirely. So now I have three options. Go upstream and talk to people who actually have buying power. Pivot to a different problem I uncovered during the process. Or drop it and move on to the next idea. I'm giving it one more week Do you know anybody who manages a sales team I could talk to?
