Can you Mix it? How to Mix Galaxy Pink from Schmincke

In an effort to try and buy less watercolor paints I have been learning more about watercolor pigments and their unique personalities. That way I can recreate super granulating colors at home and finding suitable substitution’s instead of purchasing more paints. In today’s video I am doing my best to recreate Galaxy Pink from Schmincke's supergranulating watercolor line. This is a paint I already own but I thought I would show you how I recreated it. Galaxy Pink is a beautiful Dusty Rose color that when it granulates out you get beautiful flecks of violet. This color would be perfect for botanicals, Red rock landscapes, and even evening skies.
