Following up on my previous rambling video, today's video is intended to address some misunderstandings regarding the cost of living in the Philippines, particularly in Bohol, as it seems many people have misconceptions about it. While some travelers may have been satisfied with their visit to Bohol and others disappointed, the most common complaint has been that the value for money is very poor. In particular, some people felt as though Korean business owners were ripping off Koreans, and I have seen many comments comparing the current prices and atmosphere to pre-pandemic times. I hope this video serves as a helpful reference for the cost of living in the Philippines and Bohol. Now, especially after the pandemic and amidst two ongoing wars, it seems the era of traveling to Southeast Asia solely for the sake of cheap prices and value for money has passed. Nevertheless, I believe the Philippines remains a sufficiently attractive travel destination for those who love the sea and water, as well as the unique "Filipino vibe."
