In the end, the suspect was charged with improperly possessing unregistered speared Lake Sturgeon from Lake Winnebago, improperly possessing Lake Sturgeon being transported prior to registration, and fail to complete required Lake Sturgeon registration. He pled no contest to all 3 charges and was adjudicated guilty. He was ordered to pay a total of $873.25 in costs and fines which he promptly paid.
