A Drive Around Clarion, PA

Welcome to Clarion, Pennsylvania! This is a drive around the borough featuring the downtown area, Pennsylvania Western University, and the commerce just outside of town at Interstate 80. First settled in 1801, laid out as a village in 1839, and later classified as a borough in 1841, Clarion is a rural college town located in Clarion County in Western Pennsylvania approximately 80 miles northeast of Pittsburgh. Clarion serves as the County Seat of Clarion County and is locally known for the Autumn Leaf Festival, held at the end of September and beginning of October each year. Within Clarion, is the Clarion Campus of the Pennsylvania Western University (or PennWest). Until October 2021, PennWest Clarion used to be known as the Clarion University of Pennsylvania, however it was consolidated with Universities in Edinboro, PA and California, PA and thus renamed.
