On this walk I headed into the backstreets just behind the strip, a three kilometre loop that takes in some of the best cafes and food spots most visitors walk straight past. I stopped for what is one of the better coffees in Sanur, then landed at Olli where the sausage and egg sandwich alone is worth the detour. Two complete strangers had each left 100,000 rupiah on the tab for me before I even arrived. This is the first in a series of Sanur loop walks you can do yourself and this one is as good a place to start as any.
