I spent the day exploring the streets between the hotels, checked out the Bali Collection mall, tried a couple of hotel cafes and wandered just outside the gates where all the local businesses are. Cheaper restaurants, spas, laundries, all of it right there. About six kilometres on foot all up. If you saw the beach video and wondered what else Nusa Dua has going on, this is the answer.
