Fim da escala 6x1: O que muda para os trabalhadores?
The proposal to eliminate the 6x1 work schedule and reduce the weekly work hours from 44 to 40 promises significant changes for Brazilian workers. Among the main points are the adoption of the 5x2 model, with two days off per week, the full maintenance of salaries and all rights stipulated in the Consolidation of Labor Laws, as well as a reduction in the maximum working hours without loss of pay. Another practical effect is the increased value of overtime, since the calculation of the hourly wage will consider a shorter monthly work schedule, increasing the cost per hour worked for companies. The proposal has already been approved by the Chamber of Deputies and is awaiting analysis by the Federal Senate.
