Journey 2 Joy | First Vlog | Slow Living in the South African Countryside

Hi all, Today marks the first day of sharing new content on this new channel. It's taken me some time to get to this place of sharing part of my life with you, in such a public way. A lot of inner work has gone on behind the scenes, for me to get to this place. For the longest time, joy felt elusive. It was easy to share style content and not get personal. That felt very safe. However, I don't think of myself as someone who 'plays it safe.' I am a bit of a risk-taker and in these last few years of being in my 50s, more than ever, I want to be the most authentic self I can be. So, here I am, raw and exposed, sharing parts of my recent week with you in a good, old VLOG style format. I do realise, I need to get a new camera. Filming on my phone, is not the best way to capture content. Please bear with me as I navigate this new path. In this VLOG, I'm sharing a few things I got up to, here in my home town of almost 5 years, and I hope you can see that my life is finally, filled with joy! We are all deserving of joy. It's not something we need to chase. It really is present for us to enjoy, in the little moments of our day. Here's to ending a year of hardship, remembering that joy is everywhere.
