Massive Jewelry Declutter + Organize With Me | MSJ

Hello again, I am on a mission to declutter my entire closet, including my jewelry collection. Most of my fine jewelry, I really love and it has sentimental value. The fact that I'm now taking care of my mother who has Alzheimer's, has made me very aware of the fact that fine jewelry can become vintage pieces, and can be gifted as heirlooms to our children and grandchildren one day. So this clearout, does not include much fine jewelry although I have given a few pairs of earrings away. So this declutter is mostly of my costume jewelry, which of course, changes up all the time with each new trend that surfaces. However, if we hold on to good quality pieces long enough, that trend will come around again... I was becoming overwhelmed every time I opened a jewelry box, or reached for a necklace that was hanging on some hooks, and had to sort through a few before I could find what I was looking for. This is never a good way to store jewelry, and I honestly don't have the space to put pieces away until that trend makes a reappearance. having finished up this declutter, I can honestly say I feel lighter and less encumbered with 'stuff'. I still have my entire clothing closet to go through, but now that the shoes and jewelry are done, I feel challenged to complete this clearout!
