Han Goeun’s Recipe ① Kimchi Jeon 1. Shake off the kimchi seasoning and cut into 1–1.5 cm pieces. 2. Mix tempura flour and pan frying powder in a 5:5 ratio, without adding water. 3. Trim the fat off pork shoulder and mince it finer than the kimchi. 4. Add red chili powder for a nice color. ✨ If you store the batter in the fridge, it reaches the perfect consistency. 5. Adjust the thickness by adding sparkling water, tempura flour, and pan frying powder (half and half). 6/ Pour plenty of oil and pan-fry until golden. Han Goeun’s Recipe ② Zucchini Shrimp Jeon 1. Slice zucchini into 2mm thick rounds. 2. Finely mince the shrimp. 3. Add a squeeze of lemon juice to the minced shrimp. 4. Mix tempura flour and pan frying powder in a 5:5 ratio. 5. Dust one side of the zucchini slices with the flour mix. 6. Place minced shrimp on the other side and lightly coat with flour. 7. Dip in beaten egg and pan-fry. Han Goeun’s Recipe ③ Beef Jeon 1. Remove the blood from sirloin. 2. Marinate briefly in onion juice. 3. Brush or rub sesame oil on the meat. 4. Season generously with black pepper. 5. Coat with flour 6. Dip in beaten egg and pan-fry on high heat until cooked through. Han Goeun’s Recipe ④ Seasoned Vegetables 1. Mix soy sauce and vinegar in a 1:3 ratio. 2. Add sugar, pepper, red chili powder, and minced garlic to taste. ✨ Sesame oil and sesame seeds are a must! 3. Slice Chamnamul and onions, then mix with the sauce.
