Les secrets de la série EVANGELION Partie 1

Psychology, religion, mythology, sexuality and bioengineering. Evangelion, the result of the assembly of all kinds of theories, is a work that prefigures the early 2000s and the imminent arrival of the new Century. A kaleidoscopic work that drowns you in a volume of information that draws you into a labyrinth from which it's difficult to escape, and projects you into a future beyond our imagination. If my fascination with Evangelion is due to the unprecedented visuals and the subtle, complex post-apocalyptic scenario, it was the mysteries scattered throughout the work that piqued my interest and sparked my quest for the truth. 20 years on, I'm still trying to understand "the truth" behind Evangelion. The main themes of Evangelion are "self-discovery" and the question of "existence". The philosophy is that we are "made to exist" in the web of other people's words. In this work, the characters are extremely eloquent about their traumas and conflicts. Their complex psychological portraits are an integral part of the story's narrative thread. Like Shinji, the story's protagonist and pilot of Evangelion Unit 1, who has very low self-esteem and avoids close contact with others. He is incapable of making his own decisions and is the one entrusted with the final choice between the "extinction" of humanity or a "unique life form" god.
