Our last day of van life in Okinawa, Japan. We have spent the last 3 months of our camper van trip in Japan exploring Okinawa, Japan's southernmost prefecture and home to over 100+ beautiful topical islands and stunning Okinawa beaches. Our road trip in Okinawa started in January 2021 when we shipped our van from Kyushu to Ishigaki Island, part of the Yaeyama Island group. We continued our van life road trip in Japan by moving north through the Okinawa islands before finally reaching Okinawa Honto (Okinawa main island). We have been doing full time van life in Japan for over a year now and in this video we discuss about our experience of van life in Okinawa and how it compares to doing a van life trip in other parts of Japan. Travelling Japan by van is such an amazing way to get off the beaten path and explore hidden Japan. We love how convenient Japanese van life is since there are many public toilets and onsens all over the country. We are excited to continue our camper van in Japan trip and will share our next destination with you all soon!
