Rose Quarter MAX Improvements Project

We’re making much-needed improvements to MAX tracks, switches and equipment to create a smoother ride and improve on-time performance. Starting August 21 through September 3, MAX service will be disrupted and trains will likely be extremely crowded as crews make improvements near the Rose Quarter to increase MAX reliability, improve the system and make for a smoother ride. Our crews will be combining work as much as possible to reduce the impact on riders. We know it will be an inconvenience for many of you and appreciate your patience as we make your MAX ride better.
