Illustrious women of Madrid, #Madridwomen in the history of our city, women who influenced the culture we inherited and whose names, little by little, were sidelined and omitted from the chronicles. In this video, we present the #stories of six women whose names we must not allow to fall into oblivion. Writers, painters, scholars, or singers, all were important women in the history of Madrid, and all contributed a feminine touch to their work. International Women's Day, March 8th. On the Antiguos Cafés de Madrid blog, we will also publish an article dedicated to Women in the History of Madrid. The Old Cafes of Madrid YouTube channel is an extension of the blog "Old Cafes of Madrid and Other Things About the City," where you can find articles and reports about a Madrid that no longer exists, but lives on through the history of its cafes.
