With NFL Blitz 2000 Gold Edition, you get more plays, new tackles, new catches and animations which makes this edition of Blitz more explosive and addictive than ever. Players can also fine-tune their game play experience by choosing the type of field, weather conditions and the stadium! The Gold Edition included some NFL roster updates that were present at the time of release (Oct. 1999). They also enhanced the gameplay by including three unique team plays for each team. This was done to encourage players to try out other teams.
