Cruis'n USA Arcade

As the name suggests, Cruis'n USA takes the player across the US as racers compete against 7 computer-controlled opponents on 10 different tracks (+ 3 bonus) and 4 vehicles (+ 5 bonus). The goal of the game is to make it from the beginning to end of a track in a predetermined amount of time. Checkpoints are placed along the way that grants the player more time. Obstacles, such as oncoming traffic and enviromental hazards, pose a challenge to the player, as crashing into them can cause the player to lose his/her position, and waste time altogether. The environments include Golden Gate Park, in San Francisco, to Washington DC. In each race, players must reach first place to advance to the next track, and there is a time limit to reach the goal, which can be extended by driving through checkpoints. If the player does not finish before the timer reaches zero, the game ends or you insert more coin to continue. Unlike most racing games, there is the option to change the music by pressing the radio button during races.
