At Shirasaki Marine Park Campground in Wakayama Prefecture, Kenji and Akari were hit by winds even stronger than rumored. lol With a series of unexpected issues, their car camping trip around Japan was in danger of being canceled...?! This video shows a visit to Shirasaki Marine Park Campground, known as Japan's Aegean Sea due to its unique limestone topography. We had heard the winds were strong, but the day we visited it felt like a storm. Yura Town predicted wind speeds of 6-7 m/s at their strongest, but it felt about twice that. If you're a beginner or planning to camp on a day when a strong wind warning is expected, please watch this video to see what it's really like on a windy day.
