We went day camping at Shionomisaki Boro's Grass Campground, a free campsite in Kushimoto-cho, Wakayama Prefecture, the southernmost point of Honshu! You can sleep in your car in the parking lot, you can see the ocean, and the grass is beautiful. There are wooden chairs and tables, and some people were having picnics there♪ It's a recommended spot! This time, I set up a custom-made tarp that I bought for my trip around Japan for the first time. It's from WhiteRoomStudio, and you can choose your favorite material, color, and size. I recommend it for people who are not satisfied with ready-made products! It arrived about three weeks after ordering. The one we ordered was made of cotton canvas and was 3m x 3m. Until now, we had been using a 5m x 5m tarp, but this size was enough for two people. The weather was good on the day we visited, so we were able to spend a relaxing time looking at the ocean. At the nearby supermarket, there were lots of fresh fish caught in the local Kushimoto port for sale. We would like to go fishing someday and eat the fish we caught ourselves...
