Triumph Tiger Cub 12 mile ride with no misfiring after new parts fitted to carburettor.
It occurred to me that although this machine seemed to run very well apart from the occasional misfiring issues which have dogged it since I have been riding it further than just a few miles, the fuel mixture seemed to be very much on the rich side. Seeing as I had a new carburettor slide with needle, needle jet and main jet, I fitted them and it was a revelation just how much better it ran as a result, with no misfiring this time at least, although the spark plug was still quite black when I removed it. Progress has been made, though.
