1950 A second life for this 1950 breast drill [4K/UHD]

I found this old, heavy (2.5kg) two-speed handdrill in a dump store in Amersfoort. This is a piece of machinery that deserves a second life. I have restored smaller drills like this before but this one gave me a hard time. I think it is made in the 50's. One of the handles was broken beyond repair and I made a new one from a similar piece of wood that came from a large umbrella standard. I like the mechanical removal of rust so with steel brushes and sandblasting I cleaned alle the parts from rust. After that I finished it with primer and a hammerite like paint.
