In this video, using VFR circuits, we'll be practicing our first bit of VFR phraseology for VATSIM. It's highly recommended that you start with circuits like this before doing any other type of flying, so you can get used to the phraseology and procedures, and, if you're a newbie, get used to talking to an actual 'air traffic controller'! This video features Groningen Airport Eelde in the Netherlands using the Carenado Cessna 172 (PH-TGM) livery. Scenery: ORBX TrueEarth Netherlands. It's strongly recommended you get some photoreal scenery for VFR flying. Otherwise, a good 'mesh' addon is also great, so that at least all structures, highways, cities are visible and in the correct position according to the real world VFR chart.
