Important Pre-Checks when Resurrecting an old Motorcycle Motor...Better Check It before you Wreck It

Time to resurrect an old xv920 motor so I can play with putting the xv1000 and also the xv1100 starting systems on it to see just what it takes. Here's the 12 Steps to verify one without having to actually take the motor apart that will give pretty good confidence that you'll be good to go. Although I have the motor on the stand to check it, all of this could be done on the bike if someone was looking to buy a bike and wanted to verify things.
