At the annual 1973 Trophy des Nations team competition for 250cc bikes held at Dodington Park near Bristol, Roger DeCoster led the Belgians to their 5th consecutive victory. The British team were not classified after Vic Eastwood and Andy Roberton failed to finish. The Swedish team were eliminated for rule infringements.
