Navigating pharmacy deserts and expanding scope of practice with Teresa Salgado, Ph.D.

She discusses the growing impact of pharmacy closures across the United States and how the rise of pharmacy deserts is affecting patient access and public health. Salgado shares insights from her research on barriers to implementing expanded pharmacy services, including workforce constraints, billing challenges, and operational pressures.
