I HAVE HAD CUSTOMERS REPORT THAT THE MISHIMOTO FILTER POST ADAPTER MAY COME OFF WITH THE FILTER WHEN CHANGING OIL. IF THIS HAPPENS CLEAN THE OIL FROM THE ORIGINAL FILTER POST THREADS AND THE MISHIMOTO FILTER POST ADAPTER THREADS WITH BRAKE KLEEN SPRAY SOLVENT, OR STARTING FLUID (ETHER) MAKING SURE THERE ARE NO SPARKS OR FLAMES, OR IGNITION SOURCES, AND THAT THE ENGINE IS NOT HOT.
