He offers 250 000$ to buy Jensen's house without even considering the illnesses they suffered because of the company. He even denies the responsibility they have in this. While Ed is trying to negotiate, he realizes the man he has in front of him is not here to negotiate, just to get the case closed, and he is just an insignificant employee in the firm. So Ed gets really angry and ends the discussion saying he’s gonna talk about this to the Jensens, but obviously he just wants to go to court. The PG&E employee tries to scare him with the turnover of 28 billion dollars of his company. As a result, he just makes Ed laugh really loud.
