The Directorate of Personnel Management Holds its Fifth Semiannual Conference The Directorate of Personnel Management held its fifth semiannual conference on Tuesday, June 23, 2026. The conference was attended by the Director of Personnel Management, several staff officers from the Directorate, the Director of Administration at the Ground Forces Command, and directors of administrative departments in the various branches, operations, and military divisions. The conference addressed a range of personnel-related issues, including: personnel placement, transfers, promotions, legal matters, retirement, and the opening of military training courses. Emphasis was placed on the importance of monitoring personnel affairs, identifying problems and obstacles they face, and working to find effective solutions in accordance with established military principles, standards, and regulations. The conference also reviewed key measures taken during the past period and discussed mechanisms for improving administrative work and raising performance levels to enhance the efficiency of human resource management within the formations of the valiant Iraqi Army.
