Landing in Honolulu (HNL) 20 October 2017

UA 1431 LAX-HNL 757-300 on Rwy 4R This was an unusual daytime approach onto runway 4R. The trade winds were much stronger than normal (20 to 25 knots) so this necessitated the landing directly to the northeast. You can see the rough seas below though the landing itself was rather smooth. Best part of this approach is the clear view of Diamond Head, Waikiki, Kaka'ako then Downtown before we touch down. Then, the cherry on the cake, as we turn off the runway a rainbow can be seen in front of the Ko'olau range to greet us Aloha.
