Pocket Watch Restoration: Longines cal. 21-54 - How I turned a $10 junk into an $800 pocket watch
This time I am doing a pocket watch restoration of an antique Longines pocket watch, cal. 21-54, stainless steel model. The mechanism of this model dates back to the year 1880-1890. Since it has a Kingdom of Serbia coat of arms on its back, I am assuming this pocket watch belongs to the pre-1914 era. There were several issues with this pocket watch restoration: It was extremely dirty Glass was missing Dial was damaged Case front was cracked Barrel bridge was in bad condition Case back had a dent Hands were missing Top bow was in bad condition Balance bridge needed a fix. Please let me know what you think about my pocket watch restoration in the comments below the video.
