Strong public reactions and widespread appeals are emerging across Arunachal Pradesh following the arrest of prominent anti-drug activist Gumin Mize by Assam Police in connection with a case registered at Bihpuria Police Station. Mize, who serves as the president of the voluntary organisation Arunachal Pradesh Anti-Drugs Warriors (APADW), is widely known across the state for his grassroots campaign against drug abuse, youth rehabilitation initiatives, and anti-narcotics awareness drives.
