Gumin Mize Case and the ST Bachao Andolan::: Are they Right or Wrong?

In today's world of social media, information spreads faster than ever before. Unfortunately, controversial and negative stories often travel much faster than positive ones. That is why it is important to approach sensitive issues with caution, responsibility, and a minimum level of research before forming opinions or making public statements. In this video, I share my personal thoughts on the widely discussed Gumin Mize case, a matter that has attracted significant attention across Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, and social media platforms. This discussion is not intended to support or oppose any individual or organization. Rather, it is an attempt to examine some of the broader issues that emerge from this incident and what lessons society can learn from it. Gumin Mize is widely known for his anti-drug activism and the efforts he has made to combat the drug menace in Arunachal Pradesh. His work has earned appreciation from many people who believe that he has helped save lives, protect families, and create awareness about the dangers of substance abuse. However, the recent allegations and legal proceedings surrounding him have also raised important questions about activism, law enforcement, public participation, and the role of established institutions. This video explores the delicate balance between citizens taking initiative for social causes and the necessity of operating within legal and institutional frameworks. While social movements and public campaigns often emerge from genuine concerns, long-term success requires accountability, legal backing, and cooperation with government agencies and law enforcement authorities. I also discuss how similar challenges can be seen in various public movements where citizens step forward to address issues they feel are not being adequately handled by the system. At the same time, governments are responsible for maintaining law and order and protecting established legal processes. Understanding this tension is essential if society is to find constructive and lasting solutions. Another important aspect covered in this video is the role of social media during sensitive incidents. In recent weeks, provocative statements and emotional reactions from various individuals have contributed to confusion and division. Before commenting on complex matters, it is important to remember that investigations take time and that facts should be allowed to emerge through proper legal channels. The relationship between Assam and Arunachal Pradesh is built upon deep historical, cultural, economic, and social ties. The people of both states share strong connections that should never be undermined by misinformation, emotional rhetoric, or attempts to create unnecessary divisions. Responsible public discourse is essential to preserving these relationships. Ultimately, this video is a call for rational thinking, responsible citizenship, respect for legal processes, and constructive engagement with societal issues. Whether discussing activism, governance, law enforcement, or public movements, the goal should always be to become part of the solution rather than part of the problem. I invite viewers to watch with an open mind, think critically, and share their perspectives respectfully in the comments section. Jai Hind.
