MT CHARLESTON PEAK SUMMIT
Mt Charleston is located roughly about an hour outside of Las Vegas, Nevada. The hike up to the Mt Charleston peak is the toughest yet one of the coolest trails to do in the Las Vegas area. At 17.2 miles round trip and 4,819 ft of elevation gain, this hike will totally push you to your limits! What I love about this hike is the beauty of the trail and the many viewpoints it has. You get to see a lot of the damage from the huge Carpenter One fire 7 years ago. Also, before the summit, you can visit a plane crash site where 14 people perished back in 1955! When you do finally reach the peak of Mt Charleston, you feel a great sense of accomplishment that is priceless. In this video, I take you along with me on this magnificent hike and show you all the great highlights of the trail. Before you summit, Mt Charleston watch this video!
