Too hot to fly? - Fly Boy Episode 82
Today was extremely hot for the UK. It was forecast to go up to 28° but it felt more like 30° and of course high pressure is definitely not good for paragliding because of the suppressing of thermals and as expected there really wasn't much thermal activity. But in the end I managed a 15-minute flight which was great because I was just happy that I was able to top land. After going down to the bottom field I had got extremely hot and sweaty so I was happy to have made a top landing in the end. It's good to sometimes go out in even difficult conditions so that you can become a master of scratching in light lift. Thank you for watching!
