This episode begins from the beautiful village of Harchin in Laspur Valley, where we continue our adventure towards the world's highest polo ground. Our first stop is the museum of Amirullah Khan Abtali, a legendary polo player and respected politician of the region. During the visit, we meet his son, who shares fascinating stories and valuable information about his father's life, achievements, and contributions to polo. We are also honored with a delicious lunch and warm hospitality before continuing our journey. As we ride through the breathtaking landscapes of Laspur Valley, the scenery becomes even more spectacular. Endless green fields, towering mountains, and peaceful villages make this section of the journey unforgettable. The road to Shandur is not always easy. Dusty tracks, rough roads, and challenging riding conditions add adventure to every kilometer. Eventually, we reach the first meadows of Shandur Valley, where the excitement truly begins. After exploring the first beautiful lake of Shandur, we arrive at the main festival campsite, a temporary tent city built for the three-day Shandur Polo Festival. Here visitors can find food stalls, local products, camping facilities, and everything needed to enjoy the festival. Unexpectedly, I lose contact with my fellow travelers. With no mobile network available, finding them becomes a challenge. While searching for them, I explore the polo ground and capture the thrilling final moments of an exciting polo match. As evening falls, I rent a tent for the night and experience the vibrant cultural atmosphere of Shandur. Traditional folk music, local performances, and the unique mountain environment create an unforgettable night at the festival. Later, while returning to the festival market, I finally reunite with my friends, bringing a perfect ending to another memorable day at Shandur.
