Journey to the World's Highest Polo Ground Shandur Polo Festival 2026 Booni to Laspur Valley Welcome back to another adventure with Walks With Sami! After a long overnight journey from Dir Upper, we finally arrived in Booni, Upper Chitral at around 2:00 AM. Finding accommodation late at night was a challenge as the entire market was closed, but after several phone calls, we managed to find a hotel and get some rest before the real adventure began. The next morning, our motorcycle journey towards the world's highest polo ground started from Booni. Riding through the breathtaking landscapes of Upper Chitral, we passed along beautiful rivers, towering mountains, and peaceful valleys. Our first major stop was Mastuj, where we explored the famous Khooni Chashma (Bloody Spring) and visited the historic Mastuj Fort, a place rich in history and culture. After Mastuj, we continued our ride deeper into the mountains towards Laspur Valley, one of the most beautiful regions of Upper Chitral. Along the way, stunning mountain scenery, crystal-clear streams, and endless green meadows made every kilometer unforgettable. This adventure was shared with my fellow bikers as we explored the hidden beauty of Chitral together. Our journey eventually brought us to the picturesque village of Harchin, where nature displayed its finest colors and landscapes. As the views became even more spectacular, I decided to save the next chapter of this incredible journey for another video.
